Where prices stand on November 7: the Refoss 16-circuit monitor is $189.99, down $10 from November 4 and now $10 under the Emporia Vue 3, but still $38 above its $151.99 Black Friday price last year, so wait for it. The DREO Atom One is still $44.93. The Dr Infrared DR-968 is $104.00, already about $5 under last year’s Black Friday price, and the Kasa HS300 is $8 above its October 2025 record low. The Kasa EP25 4-pack is $42.99, $13 above its $29.99 Prime Big Deal Days price, so wait for it. The Kasa KP125M 2-pack is $5 under its $29.99 list. For the rest we found no earlier sale price, so a discount on Black Friday is a bonus rather than a benchmark.

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Last year Amazon ran its Black Friday Week sale from November 20 to December 1, so expect discounts about a week before the day. Amazon held its Prime Big Deal Days on October 6 and 7 this year; several prices in the table come from that sale.

Safety first: CPSC says to plug a heater directly into a wall outlet, never into an extension cord or power strip, which also rules out the smart plugs above.

Black Friday Traps to Avoid

• Discontinued energy monitors. Sense stopped selling in-panel monitors on December 31, 2025. A discounted Sense is old stock.
• Different versions under one name. Last year’s Refoss deal was for the EM16; the current listing is the EM16P. Check the model number and the number of circuit sensors in the box.
• Pack-size games. Smart plugs are sold in 1-, 2- and 4-packs. Compare the price per plug, not the headline discount.
• Heater “efficiency” claims. Infrared, ceramic and oil-filled heaters all use the same electricity for the same heat output. Pay for the thermostat and safety features, not the label.
